hier ein Anliegen in eigener Sache: es geht um Praktika bzw. berufliche Ausbildungen bei Unternehmen oder Bildungsinstitutionen im weitesten Sinne für meiner Schüler.

the programme of apprenticeship:

VOCATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP - computer technician

WHERE
Vocational apprenticeship should take place in institutions and companies involved in creating and using computer software or hardware or running computer service.

OBJECTIVES: At the end of apprenticeship students should know how to:
- Characterize the organizational structure of the computer section of the company,
- Distinguish between the types of activities in the company,
- Organize their own work place in the field of information processing,
- Choose the configuration of hardware and software for various applications,
- Test and diagnose computer hardware,
- Expand and modernize the system unit through the exchange of elements
- Use the ready-made application software packages and tools
- Collect data for information processing systems,
- Use software utility to represent data graphically
- Organize and carry out the work in the field of IT services to users and customers,
- Support local area networks,
- Design a simple database for the company use
- Use the database and information processing systems in the company
- Use the Internet resources and electronic mail,
- Use the professional terminology in English,
- Translate texts in English received by the computer in e-mails and the Internet,
- Use the program user guide in English.

REMARKS on implementation
Students should be able to install, run and maintain computer equipment and run database and application software systems.
The plan and organization of activities can be adapted to the possibilities of the company.
The apprenticeship should be done at the positions where the future computer technician will work, in particular, administrator, designer or programmer. In the companies selling computer equipment, computers or utilizing leading hardware service points, students should be able to configure computer workstations, network configuration, test and diagnose equipment and expand and modernize computer systems through the exchange of items.

The apprenticeship should provide an opportunity to learn practical applications of information technology and work organization in companies while performing work for the users or customers of the company.
Before the apprenticeship, the tutor and the representative of the company should together develop a schedule of apprenticeship.
Before apprenticeship students should learn about the safety regulations and hygiene in the workplace.
Students engaged in apprenticeship are required to keep a diary in which they record the names and topics of their operations. The records should be checked and confirmed by a professional practitioner. The apprenticeship students can take in their home country or abroad.

EVALUATION of apprenticeship:
The evaluation is done by the tutor on the basis of student observation and his work. The evaluation should take into account:
- Keeping discipline,
- Organization of work,
- Independence at work,
- The quality of work performed,
- Professional attitude.

At the end of apprenticeship, the tutor of the student should write in the diary the opinion on the student's work and give a final evaluation.
